5 Longfellow Park, Cambridge, MA
You are invited to shake, rattle and roll at the Cambridge Quaker Meeting’s seasonal celebration of music, song and community revelry.
Proceeds will benefit the Material Aid & Advocacy Program
(MAAP). Since its inception in 1944, MAAP’s mission has been “to see what love can do” and to provide clothing and household goods for those in need, along with advocacy for families and individuals who have become homeless. (maapma.org) MAAP provides direct service to over 2,000 people every year while also coordinating advocacy efforts. This event is especially timely and urgent during the winter season when many look to find shelter and resources to help them survive the New England winter.
All are welcome. Pay what you can. (Suggested donations: $20 per person for 13 years old and up, 12 and under – free)
